Dig-It Developing Garden Workshops

We would like you to attend the workshop on the topic that interests you. By participating, you'll gain valuable knowledge on designated topics and have a chance to engage in the evening's activity, which can enhance your gardening skills. 

• January Topic: Container Plant Maintenance during the Winter. Activity: Plant Party! Bring a container plant that needs transplanting or offspring to repot, then exchange it with other participants to add to the variety of your plants at home. Register by January 20th.  
• February Topic: Fruit Tree and Shrub Pruning. Activity: TBD  Register by February 13th
• March Topic: Planning your vegetable garden. Activity: Draw your 2024 garden. Register by March 12th.
• April Topic: Variety Selection and NDSU Variety Trials. Activity: Seed Tape and Seed Balls Register by April 15th. Workshop Fee $15
• May Topic: Water Cycle and Rain Barrel function with James River Soil Conservation. Activity: Home Rain Barrel. Register by May 20th. Workshop Fee $30
• June Topics: Growing Roses with Kathy Mahler. Activity: Drying and Pressing Flowers. Make your own floral bookmark Register by June 17th. 
• July Topics: Community Garden Tours. Register by July 23rd. 
• August Topics: Food Canning and Preservation with Danielle Dinger, FCW Agent. Register by August 20th. 

Pre-registering for each event is crucial as it allows us to order the necessary supplies in time. Workshop fees will vary, so please feel free to contact the office with any questions you may have.
