Livestock Artificial Insemination Camp
For Ages 13-19
Livestock Artificial Insemination Camp will teach youth of the science of Artificial Insemination. Learn about the anatomy of beef, sheep and swine and the protocols utilized to breed each of these species. Through hands on activities participants will learn about estrous, heat detection, breeding equipment, protocols, and proper handling of AI tools.
Camp Dates
September 14 - September 15, 2024
Camp will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, September 14 and end at Noon on Sunday, September 15.
Cost
There is a fee of $100.00 per student attending. This will cover meals and supplies for the event.
A deposit of $75 is required at online registration.
A confirmation will be sent via email upon receipt of your registration. All correspondence will be through the email address you provide to UltraCamp when you set up your profile online.
4-H membership is NOT required for participation. Scholarships are available for income eligible families. Please contact the Center for 4-H office for more information (701) 231-7251.
