Jane Strommen, NDSU Extension Gerontology Specialist, and Leacey Brown, SDSU Extension Gerontology Field Specialist, will lead the discussion.

Schedule

Sessions will occur on the following dates from 10-11:00 a.m. CDT:

  • November 6
  • November 20

Objectives

In each session, Jane and Leacey will facilitate a group discussion and ask probing questions to encourage attendees to think about retirement in new and exciting ways. Topics will include:

  1. Exploring attitudes and beliefs about retirement.
  2. Describing how purpose influences health and wellness outcomes.
  3. Integrating purpose into retirement planning.
  4. Identifying goals and priorities for retirement.
