Description

A small tree with a "cloud" of double-white flowers in the spring. Originated as a seedling of 'Toba' hawthorn at the Morden Research Station in Morden, Manitoba. The glossy, dark green foliage turns yellow in the fall and the bright red fruits drop early. The twisted trunk adds visual interest in the landscape. Hardier than 'Toba'.

Preferences

Light: Full sun. 
Water: Low to high. 
Soil: Adapted to a variety, but will not tolerate standing water.
