Fit & Strong Instructor Training
Fit & Strong is an evidence-based physical activity program developed by researchers at the University of Illinois. This 8 or 12 week program that targets older adults with osteoarthritis has demonstrated significant functional and physical activity improvements in this population. If you’re interested in joining the network of North Dakota Fit & Strong Instructors, consider attending an instructor training.
Fit & Strong instructors say they get a great deal of satisfaction from being able to help older adults become more active by strength training, flexibility exercises and health education to aid with osteoarthritis and stiffness.
