NDSU Extension Parent Family Education
Webinar 2 - Free Play: How to Create More of it for Children In this webinar, we will explore the critical role adults have in providing environments that encourage children’s natural exploration and creativity. We'll introduce the concept of "Playwork," a professional approach that focuses on creating environments where children can engage in play freely, without unnecessary adult interference. Participants will learn how to prepare spaces that encourage self-directed play, fostering creativity, exploration, and resilience. By the end of this session, you'll gain insight into how adults can support play in a way that respects children's autonomy and promotes their overall well-being.
