Through hands-on activities, reflection, and real-world experiences, we will explore how intentionally applying this model fosters a youth’s learning and development.  Margo Bowerman, NDSU Extension Youth Development Specialist - STEM, started her Extension career in a rural county in western New York. She moved to Minnesota in 2013 to develop 4-H STEM programs in northwest Minnesota. She crossed the river to North Dakota in April 2024 to focus on STEM programs for North Dakota 4-H. Margo credits the “Do-Reflect-Apply” model to not only helping youth hone their reflection and application skills but her own as well.
