Feedback

“This is a wonderful service. I don’t know what I would do without it. It has helped with my depression. I feel connected with the outside of the community. They are so nice and they’ve been more than pleasant to visit with.”

“The program is the best thing that has come to Lisbon and the senior center. I feel we would be lost without them.”

“This program has been a gift to our community — good leaders. We look forward to what’s happening next month!”

“(Aging in Community) provides social interaction for our small community through cooking classes and events like the ice cream social and puzzle contests. It has helped to revitalize our senior center with exercise/movement classes that are realistic for our age group. We feel that the program coordinator truly cares for us and wants us to be successful.”

“(Aging in Community has provided) assistance with Medicare drug plans, social activities like an ice cream social and education with healthy cooking classes.”

“(Aging in Community has included) cooking classes, bone-building classes, joining others at a dining table, learning new things and especially laughing and making new friends.”

“Continue to offer programs that nourish our small community and are appropriate for all ages. The cooking classes are immensely enjoyed. It’s often hard to reach the greater community and let people know what is happening, so outreach is important.

“I am very grateful to have AIC successfully running in our community, and I am proud to have them as a community partner. Some of our clients have stated they feel more connected to their community through the many events that have been hosted by AIC. They have also reported feeling less isolated.”
