Please join us in welcoming Scott Dai as he starts with NDSU Extension today as our 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent in Williams County!
Scott is a native of Texas and holds a BS in biology with a minor in STEM education from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, along with an MS in forest resource management from The State University of New York in Syracuse, NY. Scott brings experience providing educational programs to youth. Previously, he has worked with providing academic enrichment for high-achieving youth from underserved communities, taught K-12 youth lessons in edible plants, water quality, and outdoor skills, and he has helped create K-12 lessons in biology, chemistry, and environmental science.
His passion for STEM programming and working with youth will be assets as Scott begins his Extension career as a 4-H youth development agent. He also brings an engaging and energetic personality, an interest and ability to build partnerships in the community, experience in working with youth from diverse backgrounds, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
