NDSU makes getting a degree obtainable. With several undergraduate and graduate online degree programs to choose from, students can attend NDSU from anywhere.
“It absolutely opens up those wanting to earn a degree from NDSU regardless of their location,” said Sarah Crary, assistant director and online programs coordinator in the Office of Teaching and Learning.
Many of the online program courses offer the flexibility for students to take classes at times that work for their busy schedules. Students also can choose to take online classes that are taught in real-time later in the day if they are working full-time jobs while earning their degree.
Affordability is another reason why NDSU’s online degree programs stand out according to Crary.
“Students are becoming increasingly money conscious, which makes NDSU a great choice. We offer in-state tuition for all our online programs, regardless of what state a student is living in. NDSU’s in-state tuition is very affordable and competitive,” she said.
Overall, interest in NDSU’s online degree programs is growing. Carolina Pettus, the assistant director of the Office of Admissions, said her office has seen a high demand for online undergraduate degree options.
“Particularly since the pandemic, we have seen a lot of working professionals want to complete their degree, but cannot leave their 9-5 jobs to complete courses,” she said.
Crary said the same is true for online graduate degree options.
“We have a large portion of students interested in a graduate degree to advance within their career. An online program allows those students to continue working while earning their degrees,” she said. “We also have alumni who have moved outside that state that want to earn their graduate degree from NDSU as well.”
