Give your child a summer of discovery with hands-on learning camps at the NDSU College of Engineering. Whether they’re coding, designing roller coasters, exploring crime scene science and DNA, or diving into robotics, our camps make STEM exciting and fun!
Registration is now open for the popular STEM Kids Camps and the Explore Engineering High School Camp.
The STEM Kids Camp program is designed to ignite students’ interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through hands-on exploration of topics not typically covered in their regular school classes. These engaging and interactive camps are available for students in grades K-8 and are offered in morning and afternoon sessions across two weeks in July.
Week one runs from Monday, July 14 to Thursday, July 17, and week two from Monday, July 21 to Thursday, July 24. Each week offers a morning session from 9 a.m. to noon and an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
STEM Kids Camp offers two pricing options: an early bird rate of $130 per course, available through Monday, May 12, and a regular rate of $160 per course, available from May 13 to June 6.
The Explore Engineering High School Camp, designed for students in grades 9-12, will take place July 28 – July 31 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day. This immersive camp introduces students to various engineering disciplines through hands-on projects, engagement with NDSU faculty and students, and industry site visits.
“Our summer camps provide students with a chance to experience STEM in exciting, hands-on ways, explore potential careers, and gain confidence and curiosity—all while having fun,” said Angela Gross, outreach coordinator for the College of Engineering.
Camp topics this year range from computer coding, mini-golf course design and robotics to a hands-on pharmacy experience, STEM in space, and roller coaster engineering.
Early bird pricing of $325 per course is available through Monday, May 12. Pricing increases to $350 per course starting Tuesday, May 13 through the registration deadline of Friday, June 6.
Camps fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged to secure your preferred session.
