The dietetics students of NDSU’s 800 Café have scheduled an early St. Patrick’s Day celebration lunch for Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13.
The three-course meal will be served in the third-floor Food Production Laboratory Complex in the breezeway between the Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Family Life Center and E. Morrow Lebedeff Hall. The two seatings are set for 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
Dietetics students Amber Rebel and Madison Millner and their Foodservice Management I classmates will present this meal. The St. Patrick’s celebratory lunch will begin with a mandarin spinach salad with an in-house citrus vinaigrette. The main entrée is an almond-crusted rosemary pork loin along with roasted parsley and garlic potatoes and a butternut squash bake. Fresh strawberries will be served for dessert.
The 800 Café is operated by students in a class taught by Sherri N. Stastny, associate professor for health, nutrition, and exercise sciences.
This luncheon is $10 per meal and includes a choice of beverage. Four-meal punch cards also are available for $35 at the door. Payments can be made with cash or check.
Parking is available in the NDSU visitor’s lot on campus. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are encouraged because seating is limited.
Make reservations by contacting the department at ronda.klubben@ndsu.edu or 701-231-7487. Please indicate your serving preferred time, number of attendees, names of attendees, email and phone number of person-in-charge of reservation. Also include any food allergies when making the reservation.
