Rob Maddock, associate professor of animal sciences, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the American Meat Science Association. The association fosters community and professional development among individuals who create and apply science to efficiently provide safe and high-quality meat.
As a board member, Maddock will provide leadership to the association by working with stakeholders and continuing to update our strategic plan to meet the needs of modern meat and livestock production.
Maddock earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in animal science from NDSU and a doctorate in meat science from Texas A&M University.
