NDSU interior design program accreditation renewed

The NDSU interior design program accreditation has been renewed for a six-year term. The Accreditation Commission found NDSU’s program meets Council for Interior Design Accreditation Professional Standards.

The Accreditation Commission’s decision was based on the interior design program’s demonstrated achievement of 16 accreditation standards, which are evaluated within the context and overarching purpose and intent of the program.

“NDSU is one of 175 accredited interior design programs in the United States, and students graduating from here are well prepared to compete and succeed in the design industry,” said Susan Ray-Degges, professor and interior design program coordinator. “A big thanks goes to our current student body as well as many alumni whose student work was on display during the site visit.”

The program is scheduled to be revisited in 2022 to seek re-accreditation.
