Poet Mark Vinz is scheduled to discuss and read from his new book, “Man of the House,”Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Union Arikara room. The book is amemoir of growing up in Minneapolis in the 1950s.
Vinz is the author of several acclaimed books and taught writing at Minnesota State University Moorhead for 40 years. His new memoir began as a series of prose poems or vignettes, which eventually grew into a book of well over 100 entries.
