The NDSU Department of Biological Sciences is set to host a presentation by Ylva Lekberg,a soil ecologist at the MPG Ranch and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Montana, Missoula.
She is scheduled to present “Using Biogeographical and Environmental Gradients to Better Understand Plant Soil Feedback”Friday, Oct. 12,at 3 p.m. in Loftsgard 114.

Lekberg studies the role of mycorrhiza in the success of exotic plants and researches the use of pathogens to combat invasions.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and her doctorate in ecology from Penn State University.
