The Department of Biological Sciences is set to host a presentation by, Giancarlo Lopez-Martinez,NDSU research assistant professor of biological sciences.
He is scheduled to present “Hormesis: When Environmental Stress Improves Organismal Performance and Fitness”on Friday, Nov. 16,at 3 p.m. in Loftsgard 114.

Lopez-Martinez is a comparative stress physiologist who studies the effects of environmental stress on animals. He earned his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctorate in entomology from The Ohio State University. He was a post-doc at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
