Columbia University conservation biologist to give NDSU seminar

The NDSU Department of Biological Sciences and the USDA-APHIS-WS National Wildlife Research Center are set to host a seminar by Sara M. Kross, director of the master’s program and lecturer at Columbia University’s Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology.

She is scheduled to present “Winemaker’s Wingmen: Understanding Ecosystem Services and Disservices from Birds in Agriculture” on Friday, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m. in Loftsgard 114. Everyone is welcome.

Kross is a conservation biologist who studies human-modified landscapes, conflicts between humans and wildlife and behavioral ecology.
