NDSU sophomore Michelle Gaislerova was named to The Summit League 2018-19 Women’s Basketball Academic All-League team, as voted on by the league’s faculty athletic representatives and athletic communications directors.
Gaislerova is the second player in school history to be named to the team, joining Brooke Yaggie in 2016. Gaislerova earned her first Summit League Academic All-League honor after posting a perfect 4.0 GPA as a journalism major. She also earned Google Cloud First Team Academic All-District honors.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30, completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of his team's competitions.
