NDSU sophomore Morgan Hasler has been selected as an Agriculture Future of America Ambassador. Hasler is a crop and soil sciences major from Lexington, Kentucky.
AFA is a professional development organization for collegiate leaders and young professionals. With headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, the group provides leadership development, internship support and scholarships.
Hasler and the other 24 ambassadors were selected through a competitive application process to increase awareness of AFA programs on their campuses and in their regions. They will interact with agribusiness leaders, campus faculty and fellow students as they represent the organization during their year of service.
“AFA helps students realize their true potential by tapping into their passions and talents,” Hasler said. “The staff of AFA have inspired and pushed me to become the young agriculturalist I am today. I am thrilled to serve as a peer mentor for members of AFA and provide them that same life-changing encouragement.”
Hasler's involvement in the organization’s leader development programs began in 2019 when she was selected for AFA Leaders Conference. She also is an NDSU Agriculture Ambassador and active in the NDSU Agronomy Club.
