Laura Oster-Aaland, vice provost for student affairs and enrollment management, has announced Casey Peterson has accepted the position of NDSU dean of students. Peterson has served in an interim role since last spring following an internal search.
Peterson will continue to oversee Student Success Programs, Student Activities, student conduct and the Behavior Intervention Team.
“Casey’s continuation in this position provides continuity for the areas he leads and will allow him to build on momentum related to student resources and support,” Oster-Aaland said. “Casey has more than 20 years of experience in various student success related positions, including director of Student Success Programs and positions in Residence Life, Learning Services/Athletic Academics and Office of Admission. The experience he brings, along with his commitment to equity, inclusion and student success, will enhance the impact he can have on NDSU students.”
