Six NDSU men’s basketball players were named to the NABC Honors Court announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on July 27. Jarius Cook, Tyree Eady, Sam Griesel, Maleeck Harden-Hayes, Jaxon Knotek and Rocky Kreuser earned the academic recognition for the Bison.
Student-athletes must have junior or senior academic standing and a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher at the end of the academic year to qualify for the NABC Honors Court.
Cook started all 26 games he played in the 2020-21 season, ranking fourth on the team with 9.2 points and 27.8 minutes per game.
Eady started all 26 games he played last season, averaging 33.9 minutes for the secondmost on the team. He averaged 11.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Griesel was named to the All-Summit League second team last year, starting all 27 games and leading the Bison in minutes played. He ranked second on the team with 11.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest.
Harden-Hayes averaged 8.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in 2020-21, starting 21 times as a sophomore.
Knotek played in 18 games for the Bison, averaging 4.4 points and 1.9 rebounds.
Kreuser was named to the All-Summit League first team, leading NDSU with 15.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
