NDSU Bison baseball players Tristen Roehrich and Brock Anderson have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced May 12.
Roehrich received the honor for the first time in his career and has a 3.80 GPA in business. The pitcher from West Fargo, has a 4-2 overall record with five saves.
Anderson was also named to the Academic All-District Team for the first time in his career. He has a 3.75 GPA in business. The Alexandria, Minnesota, native has contributed 11 doubles and four home runs to go along with 27 runs and a career-high 25 RBI this season.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in June.
To be eligible for Academic All-America consideration, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director.
