One Program, Two Pathways
Choose one of two pathways: The teacher licensure pathway prepares you to teach at the middle, secondary, post-secondary and adult levels in FACS education programs. The training and development pathway prepares you to develop and deliver educational programming in corporate training settings, Extension and non-profit organizations.
Comprehensive Curriculum
Throughout the program you’ll gain hands-on experience through immersive teaching opportunities and well-rounded coursework spanning individuals and families, nutrition and wellness, apparel and consumer decision-making.
Professional Development and Leadership
Complete an internship as the capstone experience to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom in real-world settings.
