Care

Environment

Although most aquarium plants are very adaptable to a wide range of water types, special care should be taken to provide the best conditions possible. Different plants have different preferences, some like cold water, some like shade, some like to be in a current, etc. Check with your local petstore for proper care guidelines.

Feeding/Lighting

The most important thing for your aqaurium plants is a strong light. Consider purchasing a T-5 light system for optimum health. A planting substrate can also be considered to provide nutrients, as well as liquids that feed your plants.

Maintenance

As your plants grow you'll need to prune them to prevent overgrowth. Try to spread them far enough apart as so they do not hamper each other's growth. Also, be sure to remove any dead or decaying portions immediately.
