Welcome to the Pollinator Research Group
Pollinator species have experienced drastic recent declines in population size and, consequently, numerous pollinators have been federally listed as endangered or threatened. Floral enhancements, such as pollinator plantings, have been shown to attract diverse communities of bees. Our research aims to determine how pollinator plantings are beneficial to bee communities and individuals. Pollinator plantings could be used near agricultural lands or other areas with low floral resources to improve habitat for wild and managed bees.
