Upper Division Living Room Reselection


Upper-division housing sign-up begins in January 27. As part of that process students can reselect their current residence hall room*.

*Rooms within the Engineering Leadership Learning Community or the Health Professions Learning Community cannot be reselected. Seim Hall will also be unavailable for reselection.
*Double rooms purchased as a single occupancy room can be reselected during the room renewal process in January, BUT it will be a double occupancy room so a roommate assigned to the space.

Mathew Living Learning Centers (MLLC East & West)

Modern, apartment-style living with fully furnished studios and four-bedroom units—no meal plan required. Located next to the Wallman Wellness Center.

  • Private bedrooms in all layouts
  • In-unit kitchens (kitchenette in studios, full kitchen in four-bedrooms)
  • Central air and individual thermostats
  • Free laundry on each floor
  • Rec lounges, study spaces, and onsite printing
  • Generous storage and moveable furniture

Niskanen Hall

Furnished apartment-style housing for non-first-year students—steps from the Fargodome with no meal plan required.

  • Easy access to campus, bus stop, and bike share
  • Free on-site laundry
  • Great option for students who want apartment living without summer leasing

North & South

  • Two private bedrooms per unit
  • One shared bathroom, living room, full kitchen, window A/C, and large storage closet

Middle

  • Two double bedrooms
  • Two bathrooms, full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, living room, and central air

Super Singles and Doubles

Doubles in ANY Residence Hall: Upper-division students can select to live in any residence hall.

Super Singles: Upper-division students will have access to "super singles" in limited halls. Super Singles are traditional residence hall rooms (that typically have two students), but they will be reserved as a single space.

Cater Hall

From modern architectural planning to innovative residence hall design, Cater provides a state-of-the-art living environment for NDSU students. Cater also offers two suite options, co-ed floors, central air, and tunnel access to the WDC.
