This year the Department held its annual event in the Dieterich Atrium at the Alumni Center. The event showcased a variety of student research at our student poster session. We also had a panel of alumni discuss the work they have been doing in their community since graduating from NDSU.
The alumni panel included:
- Evan Schroeder, Anthropology Alum: Tribal Historic Preservation Officer for the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.
- Mitch Calkins, Sociology Alum: Program Administrator for Lake Agassiz Development Group
For the poster session, we had three awards that students could win at the poster event. These included Best in Show and two Participant Choice awards. The Best in Show award was determined by faculty votes. The Participant Choice awards were determined by attendees at the event. This year we had a tie for second in the Participant Choice awards. Below are the winners of those awards.
