I am currently a 3rd-year year architect student and treasurer for NOMAS. I have had a hand in many events around the Fargo Moorhead area such as the Lunar New Year, Asian Night Market, and Project Pipeline with me being a founding member for each of those events. In my free time, I am an avid baker and have been baking all sorts of pastries and sweets since middle school. I am from Burnsville MN and was the house manager for the theater guild of Burnsville High School for several years.
I hope to accomplish a great deal with my fellowship but mainly want to teach how to achieve a school-life balance and how extracurriculars can play into that. I also want to go over how to start and lead an event which can be daunting, as I've learned while planning the AAPI events. Conversely learning how to budget or keep filings on a task is something I have more than enough experience with and is an invaluable skill in our fields that simply isn't talked about enough. Learning how to form a good team as well as how to keep a team on track is a skill I have gathered in theater and the NOMAS competition and applies to every field that should be highlighted and taught in-depth. Rationalizing how my race plays into what I do and how I define myself is also a journey I've been on for most of my life, and I would love to impart any sort of wisdom I've learned to someone else.
