Description

The Pesticide Certification Program helps North Dakotans get the certification required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for selling, purchasing or using restricted-use pesticides.

  • Commercial/Public Applicator and Dealer recertification trainings for 2023-2024 have concluded. 2024-2025 offerings will be posted in early September.  
  • Order Commercial/Public/Dealer study materials for exams. NOTE: certification exams are administered, by appointment through local NDSU County Extension Offices. Instructions on setting up an appointment are contained with the study materials. 
  • Request Private Applicator study materials through local NDSU County Extension Offices.  
  • Order a replacement commercial/public and dealer certification card.
  • Look up a certification record.
  • Financial Responsibility Acknowledgement form for Commercial Applicators.
