Welcome to the NDSU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry! We are excited about your success as a graduate student and are glad to have you here.

The Department offers programs leading to the Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in both Chemistry and Biochemistry. Each program of study is individually tailored to meet the unique needs of every student. Our research programs cover a broad spectrum of molecular sciences. Many faculty members have interdisciplinary research projects that blend traditional divisions such as chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology, or combine these fields with physics, engineering, or materials science.
