CEU Registration
To register for an event, non-credit class, certificate, or CEU opportunity, search in the List of NC Classes and click on the register now link or you may click the register now button above and search for your class. All registration is conveniently available online.
Admission
Events, non-credit classes, as well as continuing education units (CEUs), do not require admission into North Dakota State University because they are not eligible for credit towards degree seeking programs. Events and non-credit classes do not apply towards a degree program of study. CEUs will appear on a continuing education transcript but not on the same transcripts as degree eligible classes. CEUs have their own transcript system that is run through the Office of Teaching and Learning's Distance and Continuing Education program.
Tuition & Fees
Event, class, workshop, conference, CEU, and certificate prices vary for each activity. Please check each individual listing for pricing information.
Accreditation
In general, CEUs are approved by the various licensing bodies that require them. This means that NDSU or the organization we partner with to offer CEUs must apply to the different licensing bodies before CEUs can be offered. Some licensing bodies do not require preapproval of CEUs as long as another agency approved them or as long as the topic is related to their specific need, in these situations NDSU may offer general CEUs. General CEUs can also be used by companies to verify that the employee attended the course. Participants should verify standards with their organization or licensing board to ensure these classes will meet their individual needs prior to registering.
NDSU Distance and Continuing Education is accredited through NDSU's accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission.
Cancellations
Refunds are not issued after the start of the course or after access to the course has been provided. Please e-mail NDSU Distance and Continuing Education at ndsu.dce@ndsu.edu to request to cancel your completed registration.
