The Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award and the Outstanding Professional Advisor Award recognizes faculty and professional advisors who have demonstrated a commitment to empowering students, fostering their academic and personal growth, and guiding them toward reaching their full potential. To nominate a professional adviser or faculty advisor for this award, students and alumni submit a nomination form.

Eligibility for the Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award: Faculty advisor at NDSU who has advised students for at least six months and not received this award in the previous three years. 

Eligibility for the Outstanding Professional Advisor Award: Professional advisor at NDSU who has advised students for at least six months and not received this award in the previous three years.
