GPU Cluster
The Photonics Laboratory has a cluster with seven high-end workstations with Nvidia Kepler K-20 GPU cards. Each workstation has two Xeon processors with 32 GB of RAM and 2496 thread processors with 5.12 GB of RAM in the GPU card. The GPU cluster has a combined peak processing speed of of 8.19 Tflops.
The acquisition of this computer cluster was funded by the SU Impact Grant Program of the NDSU Development Foundation. The cluster is currently located in the room ECE 121A.
