On March 4, 5 and 6, bands will perform in NDSU Festival Concert Hall, attend clinic sessions from nationally recognized adjudicators and NDSU faculty, and a enjoy a collegiate performance from the NDSU Wind Symphony. Gold, silver and bronze awards as well as Division Winners and Overall Winners will be presented at an award ceremony at 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday.
This year’s adjudicators include:
- Elizabeth Jackson Kirchhoff – Band Director (Retired), Eden Prairie High School
- Col. Jim Keene – Commander (Retired), United States Army Band
- Tim Oliver – Director of Bands and Professor of Music, University of Mississippi
- Mike Watts – Director of Bands (Retired), Permian High School in Odessa, Texas
All performances are free and open to the public. They will also be streamed online.

The Raging Red Band Festival is supported in part by Eckroth Music, Schmitt Music, Popplers Music, the North Dakota National Guard and the NDSU Challey School of Music.
