The NDSU Libraries have scheduled an event to celebrate 50 years of a partnership with the University of North Dakota’s Chester Fritz Library on Friday, April 12, at 1 p.m. at the NDSU main library.
A social and some guest speakers are planned for the event and refreshments will be provided. The latest exhibit, “Duck and Cover: Civil Defense in North Dakota,” also will be on view.
Since 1969, NDSU Libraries and the UND library have shared government document collections and assisted users in North Dakota through the Federal Depository Library Program.
Here are a few examples of shared information:
• FEMA flood maps
• Environmental studies
• Weather reports
• USDA materials
• NASA documents
As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
