Registrations from the campus community are being accepted for NDSU's Mental Health First Aid training. The two sessions are scheduled Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Thursday, Oct. 10. Both sessions will be from 8 a.m. to noon in the Memorial Union.
Mental Health First Aid USA is designed to give people the skills to help an individual who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The course uses role-playing and simulations to demonstrate how to recognize and respond to the warning signs of specific illnesses.
For more information or to register, call the NDSU Counseling Center at 701-231-7671. The training is free and open to the first 30 registrants.
As a student-focused, land grant, research institution, we serve our citizens.
