Vitalant, formerly known as United Blood Services, is scheduled to hold a campuswide blood drive Thursday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The bloodmobile will be parked on the west side of the Memorial Union.
The Office of Human Resources is sponsoring the event for faculty, staff and students. Donors are asked to schedule an appointment and bring a photo ID at the time of their donation.
While NDSU is inclusive in its policies, current federal regulations prevent particular individuals and groups from donating blood at this time. Eligibility criteria have been established by the American Red Cross. Some members of the campus population may not be able to donate blood for a variety of reasons.
As a student-focused, land grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
