NDSU is set to host the annual “Boo at NDSU” event Tuesday, Oct. 29.

A family-friendly Halloween-themed carnival is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Cater Hall. Student organizations and groups will host booths throughout Cater Hall where children can participate in games, crafts and other Halloween activities.

In addition, trick-or-treating will be welcomed in Cater, Pavek, Seim, Sevrinson and Thompson Halls from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The carnival and trick-or-treating are free of charge and open to the public.

“Our students are so excited to welcome the community and show children what it is like to be in college,” said Jen Kacere, Department of Residence Life assistant director for leadership development. “Boo at NDSU is a safe and fun event for the entire family. We look forward to welcoming you to campus.”

During the event, families can eat on campus in the dining centers at a cost of $10 for adults, $4 for children and no charge for youngsters 3 and under.

Maps of the participating residence halls can be picked up at the carnival. Children are encouraged to come in costumes and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parking is available in the AR lot.

As a student-focused, land grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
