NDSU students in nursing and pharmacy have received health professions scholarships from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation.
Nursing students Brooke Campbell, Natalie Cariveau, Hayley Fisher, Samantha Fugleberg, Lexi Hernandez, Maia Hilscher, Cassie Holt, Brooklyn Klein, Amanda Papke, and Allie Wahlund, along with pharmacy student Hailey Wanner, were recognized for achievement as they pursue their health care careers.
The Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation is helping address the critical health profession workforce shortage by providing scholarships to nursing and health profession students who are residents of North Dakota and are attending a North Dakota university, college or technical college.
With sites in Bismarck and Fargo, the NDSU School of Nursing offers accredited programs to part- and full-time students, working professionals and students seeking online educational opportunities. As part of the NDSU College of Health Professions, the School of Nursing also is a ROTC Center of Nursing Excellence.
The NDSU School of Pharmacy educates students and practitioners, advances research and scholarship, delivers quality patient care and provides service to the profession.
