Teaching Awards
Faculty and teaching staff who are motivated and invested in their teaching should be recognized for their commitment to quality teaching and learning. If you or someone you know is an outstanding teacher and meets the expectations for these awards, consider nominating them.
Innovation in Teaching Award
Expanding recognition and awareness of instructors who are successfully using innovative teaching strategies. This is a monthly award that recognizes individuals who have exhibited creativity to elicit high levels of student engagement and learning in their classroom environment.
Each month all nominees are recognized by the NDSU president and by the Office of Teaching and Learning. One nominee is randomly selected from all the monthly nominations submitted each year to receive a $100 gift card to the NDSU Bookstore. The recipient is announced at the annual Teaching and Learning Conference.
Inspiring Colleague Award
An annual award to celebrate educational innovation and collegiality. This award recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond in sharing ideas and supporting others in creating effective learning environments. Nominees can be faculty, staff, or graduate students.
The award recipient is announced at our annual Teaching and Learning Conference.
