Restorative Practices Series
Restorative practices are alternative ways of thinking about how to build community, strengthen relationships, manage conflict, address harm caused, and ultimately learn about ourselves and others. These practices have been recognized through research and application to be widely applicable to different spaces where people learn and interact, and are increasingly being adopted as high-impact practices as part of a holistic approach to education and development in both K-12 and higher education. Over the last 4 years, volunteers from NDSU faculty and staff have begun to implement restorative practices, and look to continue to find opportunities to use them to enhance the campus community and individuals within. The NDSU Restorative Practices Network (RPN) is excited to share more about Restorative Practices with campus through upcoming presentations, book study, and panel!
