Erin Conwell is a developmental psycholinguist interested in how children's experiences with language affect their learning. In particular, she asks what prompts children to allow for flexibility in word meanings and usage and when they generalize a form to a new context. She completed her post-doctoral research in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University before joining the faculty at NDSU in 2011.
