Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD): Traditional Pathway

All students interested in NDSU’s Doctor of Pharmacy program must be accepted to study a major at NDSU. A formal NDSU application for admission must be submitted through the Office of Admission website by all applicants, with exception of current or former NDSU students. Former students must apply for readmission to NDSU through the NDSU readmission page.

In addition, students interested in pharmacy must apply to the professional pharmacy program. All applicants to the NDSU Doctor of Pharmacy program must apply using the link below.

A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher is required before an applicant will be evaluated. Applicants who are NOT currently NDSU students must submit official transcripts of previous academic work to the University's Admissions Office.

  • PharmD Technical Standards. Students must meet ALL of these technical standards to be eligible for admission to the NDSU Doctor of Pharmacy program. Please reviews these standards before applying.

Application is open and deadline is June 1, 2025. The interview process occurs in June-July 2025 (date TBD). If you have questions regarding the application, contact Jamie.L.Berg@ndsu.edu.

NOTE: Transfer students are urged to submit transcripts and applications as early as possible to assist the school with evaluation for course equivalencies.

Application Fee

A required $150.00 non-refundable fee MUST be sent to us in order to activate your application. Make check payable to: NDSU School of Pharmacy. The applicant is responsible for assuring that all required information is submitted. Please contact 701.231.7601 if you have questions regarding completion of application materials.
