Interested in TRIO SSS?
All students interested in being part of TRIO Student Support Services must complete the two step application process. To be eligible for TRIO Student Support Services at NDSU, students must:
- Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at NDSU.
- Be a citizen, permanent resident, or refugee of the United States.
- Be pursuing their first bachelor’s degree.
- Meet at least one of the following:
- Be a first-generation college student (neither parent has a 4-year degree/bachelor’s degree)
- Identify as a student with a disability
- Meet Federal income requirements based on household size and taxable income
Step 1
Complete a short application by clicking the button below.
Step 2
Dependent students (according to FAFSA) are required to upload a copy of their parent/guardian’s 2022 or 2023 federal taxes (Form 1040 only) via the secure file drop button provided. Students who are considered independent for federal tax purposes will submit their own tax form.
Once a student submits both their application and tax information, the TRIO SSS Director will review the application. You should receive an email within 2 weeks regarding the status of your application. Please check your email regularly for updates. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
*If you are unable to upload a copy of the required Federal Tax form, then please have your parent/guardian submit a Parent/Guardian Income Statement declaring the household adjusted gross income and taxable income from 2023.
