Tutoring is offered in an individual setting. Tutors are trained to promote good study habits as well as assisting you with your academic needs. The tutor will do their best to explain the material that you have questions on, but the more prepared you are to ask questions the better the tutor will be able to help you. Students are expected to come prepared for tutoring by bringing your syllabus, course materials, textbook and questions.
Fall & Spring Tutoring and Study Center hours are:
Monday through Thursday: 9:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Appointment Information:
- You MUST be a TRIO SSS student to use these services.
- Tutoring appointments are in 30-minute increments (COMM, ENGL, and Writing Support sessions are 40-minutes).
- Students can schedule two sessions back-to-back for a longer 1-hour session. No more than 2 sessions in a row please.
- Appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advance.
- No more than 3 sessions for one course in a single day. COMM, ENGL, and Writing Support is limited to 1 session per day.
