Research Requirement
To demonstrate research competency, doctoral students must provide evidence of the ability to conceptualize, conduct, analyze, and successfully report the findings of scholarly inquiry through scholarly publication. The research requirement must be met before scheduling the comprehensive examination.
The faculty will provide feedback to each student on his or her progress in the program at the end of spring semester, starting in the student's first year.
For further information on the research requirement, please review the Graduate Handbook, contact the Director of Graduate Studies, or talk with your advisor.
