If you want to be notified of the link changes, subscribe to our email newsletter.

You will also notice that we will soon be offering a variety of new educational opportunities. Stay connected to learn more about these opportunities.

We look forward to assisting you with all your professional development needs no matter what your career is and whether it is taking or offering classes.

A Look At How Our Program Has Evolved Over The Years

In July of 2015, Distance and Continuing Education (DCE) merged with several independent offices on the NDSU campus to form the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) at North Dakota State University (NDSU).

Staff members from the former Office of Distance and Continuing Education became part of the new Office of Teaching and Learning, bringing with them roughly 200 collective years of experience and extensive knowledge about professional development and continuing education at NDSU. The DCE staff continue to serve you with the same level of care and customer service as before and the professional development and continuing education units offered maintain the same level of quality. The only difference is that DCE is now considered a program offered through a larger office rather than being a stand-alone office.

DCE is a non-profit, self-support office, which means the programs and services we offer generate income to continue to support the programs and services we offer for future years. Our office exists because of the need for all individuals to continue their learning. K-12 educators and their professional development needs are a primary group our office serves.
