Afternoon Nanny

A bit about us

We’re a lively, close-knit Christian family from Fargo, looking for an awesome nanny to join our team of adventurers (ages 9, 8, 5, and 3). Our days are filled with bike rides to the playground, weekend farmers market strolls, and backyard fun. When we’re not outside, you’ll often find us cozied up with a movie and a big bowl of popcorn. Family and faith are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re building a legacy of love and laughter! Both Mom and Dad have busy work schedules, so we need a flexible, fun-loving helper to keep the chaos in check and ensure we make the most of our precious family time together.

A bit about you

We're on the lookout for our very own Mary Poppins! You share strong Christian values, which is key for our family, and you love diving into play with the kids. They do best with someone who’s fun yet firm when needed. With four kiddos, keeping things organized is important, and you’re up for the challenge! You communicate well, know when to ask for help, and bonus points if you can do the girls’ hair before school. Experience with children on the spectrum is also a plus, as our 8-year-old is on the spectrum.

Job Duties

Your day starts around 12:30 pm at the family home where you will assist with a quick tidy-up, completing children’s laundry, meal prep etc. Around 2:30 pm, you will start school pick-ups. Once home around 3 pm, you'll help with homework, prepare dinner for the kids by 4:30 pm, then tackle dishes and organize for the next day—laying out clothes, making lunches, and packing backpacks. Ideally, once a week or so, you’ll stay later for a date night or help with baths!

Position Highlights: Guaranteed Hours

Qualifications: Good Communication, Faith-based, Engaging, Kind

Set yourself apart: Have some added flexibility for some additional hours on the weekends

Schedule: Starting as soon as the right fit is identified, Monday to Friday from 12:30 pm until 5:30 pm. Looking for a commitment of at least one year, but would love long-term!

How to Apply: Apply Here; email emilie.hyatt@jovie.com or text "nanny" to 952-260-8906 to start the process!

Pay: Starting at $20/hour DOE

**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.

*Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time. This family is following these recommended guidelines cautiously and conservatively and expect the caregiver to do the same to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible.
