How to Become a Certified Family Life Educator
Become Certified via Option 1 or Option 2
1. Graduate from a CFLE-Approved Program . The Family Science option in HDFS at NDSU is a CLFE-Approved Program.
The CFLE-approved program application is for recent college graduates — graduated within two years of their CFLE application date — of CFLE-approved academic programs.
2. Take the CFLE Exam
The CFLE exam is available for those who are not recent graduates of a CFLE-approved academic program.
